2010 Influenza immunisation is out March!
Next month in March 2010 the start of the annual immunisation against Influenza will start. This years vaccination will include the prominent strain from last year H1N1 as well as PERTH and BRISBANE strains. Eventhough the last widely publicised Swine flu pandemic did not seem to cause as much suffering as predicted it is usually the waves of infection after the initial that causes the most damage. The number of influenza deaths last year was not any worse than the usual annual 400+ deaths (mainly elderly, very young and chronically ill people).
